A student credit card is your best choice. It works the same way as a regular credit card but they are just marketed for college students. I got my first credit card as a student and now I have excellent credit.

All the debt consellors say that you can not be blacklisted if you are under review, the truth of the matter is some credit providers are blacklisting people under review, I have experienced this first hand with Truworths. So please consellors out there, please tell us the truth otherwise whats the point of being under review if you are going to be blacklisted?

A friend of mine bought a double bad about 8 years ago. He lost his job and since then never paid it. The store as a matter of law listed his name as a defaulter. I am not sure if a judgement against him was taken. What can he do as he wants to start afresh? Please advise
